Privacy Policy

The Short Version

iSpent is local-first. Your purchase history stays on your device for normal exports, and we only send the minimum data needed for plan checks, Pro restoration, or optional email delivery.

How the Extension Works

iSpent is a Chrome extension that runs entirely in your browser. When you visit Apple's purchase history page, the extension reads the purchase data displayed on the page and formats it for export.

Most processing happens locally on your machine. The extension contacts our backend only for plan checks, Pro license validation, and optional email delivery.

What Data We Access

iSpent only reads purchase data from reportaproblem.apple.com. This includes:

• Purchase dates
• App and subscription names
• Prices and order IDs
• Purchase types (subscription, one-off, free)

This data is only read from the page you're already viewing. iSpent cannot access any data that isn't already displayed in your browser.

What Data We Store

iSpent stores a small amount of local state in your browser: an anonymous device ID, your daily free-export count, your current panel selections, and if you unlock Pro, your license state for this browser. We do not store your purchase history, exported files, Apple credentials, or any personal profile data on our servers.

What Data We Share

By default, normal exports stay on your device. iSpent sends an anonymous device ID to our backend when checking plan status. If you restore Pro, the checkout email and license key you provide are sent only to validate your purchase with our payment provider. If you use Email My Statements, the exported files pass through our email-delivery service only for the duration of delivery. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not retain purchase-history files after sending.

Payments And Pro Licenses

iSpent Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy. When you buy Pro, Lemon Squeezy handles payment details and sends you a license key by email. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. If you later restore Pro inside the extension, the email address and license key you enter are used only to confirm that the purchase belongs to you and that the license is valid for iSpent.

Email Feature

When you use the Email My Statements feature (Pro), your exported files are sent through our secure email service. Files pass through our server's memory only for the duration of the email delivery and are never written to disk or stored. We do not read, analyse, or retain any of your purchase data.

Extension Permissions

iSpent requests site access to reportaproblem.apple.com and idmsa.apple.com, plus the browser storage, activeTab, and tabs permissions. These are used for the export panel, local device/export state, and the popup's current-tab status message.

The extension does not request access to any other websites through browser permissions, nor to your browsing history, your bookmarks, or any other browser data.

The Website

This marketing website (ispent.app) may use minimal analytics to understand visitor traffic. This is completely separate from the extension and has no relation to your Apple purchase data.

The website does not collect any personal information beyond standard analytics data such as page views or referral sources.
